SAP NetWeaver

SAP NetWeaver^TM is the collective name for the technical components of the mySAP software suite. NetWeaver is the new name for mySAP Technology and comprises the following software:

• NetWeaver Portal - the single point of access to all IT systems
• Business Intelligence - the OLAP and data integration engine
• Master Data Management - the cross-system data consistency enabler
• Exchange Infrastructure - the data exchange mechanism
• NetWeaver Application Server - the server platform for all of the above

NetWeaver is the power behind mySAP ERP, mySAP SRM, mySAP SCM and provides content frameworks for mySAP Enterprise Portal and mySAP Business Intelligence. It also serves as the foundation for SAP's new breed of cross-functional business applications known as xApps.

As well as providing these infrastructure services to mySAP applications, NetWeaver is also fully interoperable with .NET and Websphere.
